Honky-tonk legends and multi-platinum recording artist Confederate Railroad will be headlining Heat’n the Hills Chilifest Saturday, August twenty fourth.
Confederate Railroad is touring the country in assist of their 20th anniversary of receiving the Place Tunes Associations Best New Artist trophy in 1993 in the wake of their double platinum self-titled debut album. The disc featured six hit singles, like ‘She Took It Like a Man,’ ‘Jesus and Mama,’ ‘Queen of Memphis,’ ‘When You Depart That Way You Can In no way Go Back,’ and their signature observe ‘Trashy Ladies,’ which was nominated for a Grammy.
The team, led by vocalist and guitarist Danny Shirley, famously received their start as the backup band for outlaw legends David Allen Coe and Johnny Paycheck.
